One hundred years from now
It won't matter who you thought you were,
Who I thought you were,
How much money you had,
What kind of truck you drove,
How many cattle you had,
Or how many bulls you rode,
Nor who yer daddy was,
But it will matter if you knew Jesus.

Cora's 8th Birthday Party

We celebrated Cora's 8th Birthday today with a Hummingbird themed party. Her Hunny always liked hummingbirds, and so she does too. Aunt YaYa made the cake and I made the banner and cup cake toppers. She did awesome on the cake.

The beautiful birthday girl, and a pic of me with my sweet girl

The kids all painted their own cross sun catchers and koozies. Paint may have been as bad of an idea as the horse party we had for Kylee. A bunch of kids hyped up on sugar with paint, (or horses in the case of Kylees party) doesn't always mix well. But, we all survived.
Happy Birthday to Cora!!
She got lots of awesome gifts, mostly clothes for the new school year. But her Mama and Daddy saved the best for last. First, she was just reading it, trying to figure out for sure what it was.
She read it, and read it again, and realized it REALLY WAS concert tickets to see TAYLOR SWIFT!! She and her Mama will be taking a girls trip to Dallas in October to see her favorite singer.
She was way excited!
{and Kylee said, OH MY GOSH, I am SO jealous, I'm gonna go tell my Daddy!! :)}
