The Downtown Aquarium in Houston was the second part of our weekend trip (July 16). I have been having NOTHING BUT TROUBLE with blogger, so this post is late, and in no particular order. I gave up and just left it as is.
The aquarium was very cool. There were several exhibits including Louisianna Swamp, Shipwreck, Rainforest, Sunken Temple, Gulf of Mexico, Discovery Rig, and White Tigers. At Discovery Rig the kids got to touch sharks and sting rays! They loved it. There were all kinds of vibrant colored fish and reptiles. Outside of the aqaurium was a ferris wheel we all rode and also a train ride through a shark tank. It was very neat! Outside was also a carousel and lots of games, and even a small splash park.
We enjoyed having the kids great grandparents along with us for this trip.

Landon looked at all the fish, including the "lucky" unicorn fish in the tank at the restaurant with Grandma and Grandpa while we waited for our food.
All the kids "had" to have their faces painted before leaving. It was a great weekend with family in Houston and we look forward to more!
