One hundred years from now
It won't matter who you thought you were,
Who I thought you were,
How much money you had,
What kind of truck you drove,
How many cattle you had,
Or how many bulls you rode,
Nor who yer daddy was,
But it will matter if you knew Jesus.

Georgetown Rodeo

Landon had to miss the cousins play date at the splash park because he was on his 4th day of back and forth episodes of 102 degree fevers. :( I finally decided I should take him in the the pediatrician. I had been putting it off because he didn't act like he felt bad, didn't say anything hurt, he just had fever. Well, he had a right ear infection. That explains the fever I guess. And since they hadn't stopped yet, we decided antibiotics were needed.
We decided Friday night to take him to the Georgetown Rodeo for some fun since he missed the splash park. First let me say, Clint ASSURED me that I could leave my camera in the car because Landon was too young for the mutton bustin at this rodeo (have to be 3) and it was too hot for him to go do the calf scramble with him. But as you can tell from the quality of these pics that had to be taken with cell phones, that was NOT the truth!! They did do the calf scramble, and Landon passed the mechanical bull and kept saying "I ride that bull!!" so we let him. He didn't last long on it, he wasn't too sure of it or the audience he had so Clint had to get him off and he took his turn. My little cowboy loved the rodeo as he always does.

Landon got a bull head tatoo on his face, and he was very proud of it, and his $8 light up sword {that the ignorant dog ended up eating :( }

Landon and Daddy watching the rodeo

My two cowboys! So handsome.

The calf scramble, its like where's Waldo out there!

Clint ran with Landon some and carried him some, it was so funny. They looked hilarious! Landon grinned ear to ear the whole time with his head bobbing around!

Waiting on the calf scramble to start.

Landon rode the mechanical bull for a few rounds, but decided he didn't like it going up and down and around. It was definately a little different than his spring bull at home, but it was his idea to ride it.

Clint got to take Landon's turn on the mechanical bull since Landon didn't stay on very long.
{They told him he was the best ride they had all night, lets NOT get any ideas please! we dont need to start that again! , Luckily his riggin bag is MIA, though it makes me mad because that thing and its contents was worth a lot!}

Sandra Jo rode too, and she made it 8 seconds :)
